From Sarasota Airport to Siesta Sands is less than a 12-mile taxi ride, and for a reasonable fare. 

Siesta Village (an easy walk) with its grocery and numerous eateries offers all that is needed for one who just wants to unwind, read a good book, stroll the beach, go for a dip, be well fed, and enjoy cold refreshments of choice.  Essentially, put on your bathing suit, kick off your shoes and pretend you are  a temporary "beach bum" for your entire stay!

Siesta Key Market in the Village, two blocks away, offers a full line of groceries for your stay.  However, if you want to be pampered and not deal with doing a grocery order when you arrive, Crescent Beach Grocers will take your order in advance over the telephone (941-312-0472) and deliver it ($10 Delivery Fee) to your Condo on the day you arrive. Yes, and put the refrigerator items in your refrigerator if they get there ahead of you!
